Kobushi Dojo Doral/New Age Karate is a state of the art INOUE HA SHITO RYU KEISHIN KAI KARATE-DO Karate dojo located in the heart of the City of Doral, with a full schedule of classes offered to students of all ages throughout the week. The Kobushi Dojo Doral team has been recognized in publications throughout Miami-Dade County for its participation in Jr. Olympic, Florida State and USA National karate competitions and for its community involvement through demonstrations and seminars. Classes feature traditional Japanese karate, personal fitness training, flexibility, and a variety of creative exercise methods. This interactive, friendly and helpful atmosphere encourages students of all ages to develop at their own pace and reach their highest potential of physical fitness and psychological strength.

CHIEF INSTRUCTOR, SENSEI LUIS RODAS
Sensei Luis Rodas is a certified Third Degree Black Belt in INOUE HA SHITO RYU KEISHIN KAI KARATE-DO. He is the Head Coach of the Kobushi Doral Karate Competition Team, winners of numerous national titles. Sensei Rodas’ expertise extends to kobudo (weaponry), personal fitness training, flexibility and strength practice and demonstration team preparation.

INSTRUCTOR, SENSEI YOLY RODAS
Sensei Yoly Rodas is a certified Third Degree Black Belt in INOUE HA SHITO RYU KEISHIN KAI KARATE-DO. She is the assistant coach of the Kobushi Doral Karate Competition Team and USA National silver and bronze medalist in the USANKF women’s advanced team competition events in 2004. Sensei Rodas is a specialist in flexibility training with a focus on kicking techniques.

Instructors & Assistant Instructors (Sensei & Sempai)
The Kobushi Doral Assistant Instructor training program helps prepare students for the tasks and responsibilities of Black Belt Instructors. The Sempai and Sensei staff serves to coordinate karate team activities, assist in daily classroom protocol, prepares students for belt promotions and tournament travel, and provides administrative and technical support to the instructor staff. Sensei Alberto Perez, M.D. and Sensei Ana Paredes, M.D. also serve as the Kobushi Florida Team medical staff and program health and fitness advisors.
