Kobushi Dojo Miami Lakes offers classes for students of all ages in Inoue Ha Shito Ryu Karate-do; traditional Japanese karate. Students of the Kobushi Dojo Miami Lakes learn karate techniques as well as Japanese terminology, history and culture. There is a strong focus on the interpretation and application of karate movements for self defense purposes, as well as the development of speed, timing, correct judgment and discipline.

CHIEF INSTRUCTOR, Sensei Tony Garcia
Sensei Tony Garcia is a Fourth Degree Black Belt in the INOUE HA SHITO RYU KEISHIN KAI KARATE-DO, Program Historian, and tournament competition champion. He is a practitioner of a myriad of traditional Japanese weaponry including the samurai sword. Sensei Garcia is a tournament Referee, and Assistant Tournament Promoter. He is the father of two sons and operates the Kobushi Dojo Miami Lakes with his wife and Administrative Director, Nieves Garcia.
